Ballerina Beth

Beth has been doing ballet since she was a little girl.  Of course to me she is still a little girl!  Now she is just taller and has a talent that has been nurtured perfectly by her amazing mom!  Being able to go photograph her was a treat, I honestly could have watched her dance for days.  Her abilities to tell a story and move so gracefully were astonshing.
She is applying to the Alabama School of Fine Arts and she needed this session.  It was definitely enjoyable and I hope to photograph her dancing again!  It was a lot of fun just like Beth.  She is so full of personality and grace, and it was awesome to be a small part of this part of her journey through life!

The Kelsch Family

Family moments are all beautiful and when they are captured they can truly be treasured. To have something tangible that shows the love of a family is something that should not have to be associated with anything other than special.

The Kelsch family was great to work with. Erin called when she knew that her husband was coming home to make an appointment. We chose Mount Laurel, because of the variations in backgrounds that come with just a few steps. Also the Christmas decorations are hard to resist in December. They were heading to Savannah just a few days after the shoot so it was great to capture them as a family in Birmingham.

This particular morning ended up being so cold. It was supposed to rain and as that moved out of the forecast the temperature started to drop. Arriving there I will have to say it was cold, and the wind was horrible. I was thankful that there was no rain, just the sun and a clear blue sky.

The girls were adorable and other than being frozen they were great sports. They wanted pictures with each other, with their mom, and most definitely with their daddy. We even got in a few individual pictures.

The Kelsch's were great to work with. I am so thankful that my career allows me to meet and work with so many different people who all touch my life in different, but all positive ways.

If you want to capture your family in the moment, then let me know and we will create a customized session that will work best for you.

The Patel Family

Getting to know the Patel family has been amazing. The best part is that they are constantly referring me to their other family members and without a doubt a referral is the best form of flattery.

Minali and her boys were visiting from Miami. This photo shoot was in the Highland Lakes neighborhood at different parks.

It was great and I am pretty sure that the boys had a lot of fun. They were able to run around and just be themselves and with children there is really nothing better than allowing them to be themselves and capturing those moments.

If you want to capture your family just being themselves give me a call and we will personalize a session just for you.

A Day with Morgan

This photo shoot was so much fun. Morgan is such a sweet little girl with so much personality and life. Her mom wanted her captured being herself so we let her go and I simply followed.

The session was at Indian Springs Village. The campus is absolutely stunning and I am so glad that I was able to come here. I hope to go back soon.

The weather was perfect for a day outside just having a good time. It is always nice to get outside and just have a good time and enjoy the sun. That is exactly what we did on this wonderful day in November.

Morgan is full of personality and was a lot of fun to follow. She seemed to know everyone around and was not shy with them. She was also more than willing to share some smiles which is always nice for picture day. Her mom was wonderful as well. She was so easy to talk to and get along with. She wanted to have Morgan captured and that is what I made happen. It was truly one of my favorite photo shoots today. Candid shoots are just relaxed and natural.

If you want to capture your little one and remember them at that special age contact me and we will have a day together soon.
