The Redwine Family

Merry Christmas in July from the Redwine family.  These pictures were taken in December at Aldridge Gardens in Hoover Alabama.  The family was all smiles and the weather was absolutely amazing!
The "little girls" were adorable and had a great time breaking off from the whole family and having some time by themselves.  While everyone watched they posed and smiled like they were supermodels.  It was a lot of fun for them and for me.

Being a teenager is always fun, but can make picture time with the family ackward for many.  Teenagers are a lot of fun, when they want to be in front of the camera.  Fortunately for me these two teens were amazing!  They smiled and were up for pictures alone, together, and with the family.
Happy and enjoyable parents are always fun.  They smile and in their eyes you can see the love that they have for each other.  This sets an amazing example for others and most importantly for their children.

Merry Christmas from the Redwine family and from MonicaAnne Photography.  To get your cards ready call Monica at Monicathach@gmail.com or (205) 229-1865.

The Posey Family

I ran a promotion with Living Social Families, which was a great promotion for my company. More than the amount of new clients, it has been the ability to get to know and work with so many amazing people who I might not have met had I not ran the promotion.

The Posey family was fun to work with, it was a beautiful day and Mount Laurel won the location decision. The Christmas decorations were stunning and there are so many other locations where photographs are perfect. It is a great place with many options.

Since the family will soon be growing by one it was great to capture them now, they are fun loving, and enjoy smiling and just being them.

To capture your family today to remember exactly where you were and what you were doing tomorrow contact me and we will make it happen.

The Kelsch Family

Family moments are all beautiful and when they are captured they can truly be treasured. To have something tangible that shows the love of a family is something that should not have to be associated with anything other than special.

The Kelsch family was great to work with. Erin called when she knew that her husband was coming home to make an appointment. We chose Mount Laurel, because of the variations in backgrounds that come with just a few steps. Also the Christmas decorations are hard to resist in December. They were heading to Savannah just a few days after the shoot so it was great to capture them as a family in Birmingham.

This particular morning ended up being so cold. It was supposed to rain and as that moved out of the forecast the temperature started to drop. Arriving there I will have to say it was cold, and the wind was horrible. I was thankful that there was no rain, just the sun and a clear blue sky.

The girls were adorable and other than being frozen they were great sports. They wanted pictures with each other, with their mom, and most definitely with their daddy. We even got in a few individual pictures.

The Kelsch's were great to work with. I am so thankful that my career allows me to meet and work with so many different people who all touch my life in different, but all positive ways.

If you want to capture your family in the moment, then let me know and we will create a customized session that will work best for you.

The Calvert Family

The Calvert Family has had an exciting year and were looking forward to a few shots of their growing family.

As always the females are more excited than the males, but overall they were ready.

It ended up being a freezing day in December that was mixed within a week of sixties and seventies. The wind was also trying to make the day much more difficult than it had to be. The sun was shining down though and that was definitely the saving grace.

We chose the location because of the prominent Christmas theme.

If you want to capture your family and preserve how you are right now, before any changes, and we all know children grow everyday call me and we can make it happen.

The Walters Family

Atheena called me to schedule a shoot for her family, this was going to be for a gift for her parents. This is one of the great thins about photography, it can be shared with so many people in so many amazing ways. If you ever draw a blank for someone for Christmas a photograph is always appreciated.

For this session we chose The Rail Road Park in Birmingham. This park has the ability to put you in total ownership of Birmingham. It is also a great location for larger and multiple families.

This was a great session and I was able to meet some truly amazing people that I hope I am able to work with again.
The family was in great spirits and was full of character which always makes a session enjoyable for everyone involved.

I hope that you enjoying going through a few of the photographs that were taken at this session and if you are ready to have a session personalized for you I am ready to add you to my calendar.

The Stagner Family

Meeting the Stagner family was great, they are a great family. What made this even more special was it was actually 2 sessions. One for each side of the family. I hope that everyone who received a photograph for Christmas enjoyed it. I know that I enjoyed taking them.

The Birmingham Botanical Gardens were in full fall color for the first session, which made everything even more gorgeous. The children brought so much beauty with them, and added to the fall colors it was truly a great experience. The second session we started at the Botanical Gardens, but it was so cold we headed to a house nearby to finish them up. Amazing what a few days in Alabama does for the weather.

Meeting the family has truly been one of the many Christmas blessing that I received this year and I look forward to working with them again.
