The Posey Family

Being a photographer is rewarding for many reasons.  The main one though is the amazing families that I meet and that become a part of my life.  Each session is unique and a blessing and each person touches my life.  The Posey family is no exception.

They came from Tuscaloosa to have their family photographed at the gorgeous Mount Laurel in Chelsea.  This is a location that I love throughout the year but in December is is a winter wonderland.  I cannot wait to get back there this year and watch the children light up as they sit in Santa's sleigh.

The Psey family was all smiles and the day was perfect!  It was cool, but not cold.  It was a great afternoon to spend outside.

Family is so important and very few people in 2012 seem to get that concept.  The Posey's got it and they cherished it.  This session put the 2011 Christmas season forever in their memoriesand on their walls and as a photographer that is what means the most to me.

The Redwine Family

Merry Christmas in July from the Redwine family.  These pictures were taken in December at Aldridge Gardens in Hoover Alabama.  The family was all smiles and the weather was absolutely amazing!
The "little girls" were adorable and had a great time breaking off from the whole family and having some time by themselves.  While everyone watched they posed and smiled like they were supermodels.  It was a lot of fun for them and for me.

Being a teenager is always fun, but can make picture time with the family ackward for many.  Teenagers are a lot of fun, when they want to be in front of the camera.  Fortunately for me these two teens were amazing!  They smiled and were up for pictures alone, together, and with the family.
Happy and enjoyable parents are always fun.  They smile and in their eyes you can see the love that they have for each other.  This sets an amazing example for others and most importantly for their children.

Merry Christmas from the Redwine family and from MonicaAnne Photography.  To get your cards ready call Monica at Monicathach@gmail.com or (205) 229-1865.

Braylon is 3 Months Young

Braylon Mundi is a precious little boy.  He was 3 months old back in December and I was blessed enough to be able to spend some time with him that morning.

Braylon had his own Magic elf who decided to stop in for a few picures, this is always fun.  With older kids they have been known to use lights and tie them up, with Braylon he just jumped in his arms.

A Christmas stocking was available and since Braylon is definitely a Christmas gift he looked right at home inside of it.
Spending time with Braylon and his family was a blessing and a joyous occassion for me over Christmas.

If you want to catch you little man's precious moments, please let me help you make it happen. (205) 229-1865 or monicathach@gmail.com

Ballerina Beth

Beth has been doing ballet since she was a little girl.  Of course to me she is still a little girl!  Now she is just taller and has a talent that has been nurtured perfectly by her amazing mom!  Being able to go photograph her was a treat, I honestly could have watched her dance for days.  Her abilities to tell a story and move so gracefully were astonshing.
She is applying to the Alabama School of Fine Arts and she needed this session.  It was definitely enjoyable and I hope to photograph her dancing again!  It was a lot of fun just like Beth.  She is so full of personality and grace, and it was awesome to be a small part of this part of her journey through life!

Gabrielle's Royal Gala

For anyone who thinks that Princess exist in fairy tales only they have not yet the beautiful Princess Gabrielle.
Her Birthday Party was fit for only a Princess.  It had a magical wishing well where her loyal subjects could take a penny and throw it in and make a wish, that we all know has no choice but to come true.

She had pizza, and hot wings, pasta salad, and more.  It was a royal buffet full of her favorite foods.

She shared her crown, well she made new crowns with her friends.  They were thrilled to be treated like royalty.

There was a cupcake tower that was enjoyed by everyone.

Cookies were there and decorated by all.  These were works of edible art.
The party was a success with many gifts bestowed upon the beautiful princess.  Her favorite gift though was the time that she spent with her family and friends.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a party of Gabrielle's special day!  If you want to capture your princess's special day let me know.  (205) 229-1865 or monicathach@gmail.com.  The best part about a photographer capturing the special moments is that you are able to enjoy yourself!

The Posey Family

I ran a promotion with Living Social Families, which was a great promotion for my company. More than the amount of new clients, it has been the ability to get to know and work with so many amazing people who I might not have met had I not ran the promotion.

The Posey family was fun to work with, it was a beautiful day and Mount Laurel won the location decision. The Christmas decorations were stunning and there are so many other locations where photographs are perfect. It is a great place with many options.

Since the family will soon be growing by one it was great to capture them now, they are fun loving, and enjoy smiling and just being them.

To capture your family today to remember exactly where you were and what you were doing tomorrow contact me and we will make it happen.

The Kelsch Family

Family moments are all beautiful and when they are captured they can truly be treasured. To have something tangible that shows the love of a family is something that should not have to be associated with anything other than special.

The Kelsch family was great to work with. Erin called when she knew that her husband was coming home to make an appointment. We chose Mount Laurel, because of the variations in backgrounds that come with just a few steps. Also the Christmas decorations are hard to resist in December. They were heading to Savannah just a few days after the shoot so it was great to capture them as a family in Birmingham.

This particular morning ended up being so cold. It was supposed to rain and as that moved out of the forecast the temperature started to drop. Arriving there I will have to say it was cold, and the wind was horrible. I was thankful that there was no rain, just the sun and a clear blue sky.

The girls were adorable and other than being frozen they were great sports. They wanted pictures with each other, with their mom, and most definitely with their daddy. We even got in a few individual pictures.

The Kelsch's were great to work with. I am so thankful that my career allows me to meet and work with so many different people who all touch my life in different, but all positive ways.

If you want to capture your family in the moment, then let me know and we will create a customized session that will work best for you.
